Thanks for the welcome. But I was there since 2007 . I'm administrator on :fr and I hope to become filemover on :commons one day. Cœur (talk) 15:27, 24 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You renamed File:Pacific princess in 2011.jpg, but did you first have a look at specialist sites e.g Equasis, Shipspotting or Marine Traffic? There you will find that on 6 november 2011: Name of ship: PACIFIC (since 01-06-2003) Status: Laid up. According official government site Equasis, Former name(s): Pacific Princess (Until 2003 Jun 04) according Shipspotting.com. So in my opinion the file has to be renamed again, when the date of the image is 6 november 2011 indeed. --Stunteltje (talk) 15:30, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It is the second time time someone is asking for rotating this picture by 180°. See the history of the file.
I have asked for reverting the rotation that you have let perform, because the picture was correctly oriented. The plant, which is growing along the cliff, is dropping. See also the two flowers of Campanula scheuchzeri on the edge of the picture, which are also dropping.
Hi, did you forget to check the use of the image and add the corresponding 'universal replace' to CommonsDelinker's commands? If I remember right the file was used. Lobo (howl?) 15:29, 6 February 2012 (UTC) Nevermind, I have just seen the command, sorry. Lobo (howl?) 15:33, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.
[[Category:Category name]]
For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.
Xin trân trọng tặng Prenn ngôi sao này vì những đóng góp về hình ảnh không ngừng nghỉ của bạn cho Commons. Mong bạn có thể tiếp tục. Thân Morning Sunshine (talk) 03:39, 1 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
--Linhhp (talk) 07:10, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
Why did you put my hibiscus pictures in the unidentified hibiscus category? The names where from the Kew Gardens. And I'm sure they know what kind of plants they have. Regards. DenesFeri (talk) 08:47, 7 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Prenn, thanks for helping to translate the 2012 Picture of the Year contest. We still need help translating the contest interface and messages, along with reviewing existing translations. This page contains information about which pages need to be translated (please remember to take a look at all three tables on that page). Your help is really appreciated and helps make the premier competition on the world's largest collection of over 15 million freely licensed files possible.
