Hallo Maxx, noch mal zur Tingierung, ich weiß nicht was Du und Juergen besprochen habt, mir ist jetzt euer beider (Eigen-)Interpetation des Silbers aufgefallen und halte dies für bedenklich #f4f0e8. Wie gesagt, gegen ein ganz leichtes Grau (nicht dunkler als #DDDDDD ist nichts zu sagen und wenn nicht dann sollte es konkret eher in Richtung blau nicht rot gehen. Ich hab bewusst eine Pause einlegen müssen und habe die Zwischenzeit zum recherchieren genutzt. Obwohl ich mir über die Gründe für ein nicht einheitliches Vorgehen in der deutschen WP-Heraldik - im Gegensatz zu den Franzosen, die keine Original Aufrisse benutzen können - wäre mir sehr geholfen, wenn man sich auf eine Farbpalette aus der Tabelle für die nicht eindeutig gebietsgebundenen - wie Bayern, Brandenburg, Baden-Würtemberg - verständigen könnte. Ich sehe, dass einige die FIAV-Palette nutzen und sich auf die spanische WP-Heraldik beziehen, andere die originalgetreu umgerechnete Werte aus selber PDF verwenden. Fraglich ist auch die unter de:Tingierung gezeigte Palette. Wie kann man eine gut unterstützte Empfehlung an die hier aktiven Wappen-Zeichner vermitteln? --maxxl2   - talk 12:20, 3 March 2013 (UTC)

Chapter logo for Wikimedia Cascadia?

Hi there. I see you uploaded the chapter logos for WM Boston. If you have the ability and time, would it be possible to upload logos (or other images such as banners, barnstars, etc.) for Wikimedia Cascadia? Telefonica Logo

Hallo, ich habe Deine Änderung an Telefonica_Logo.svg rückgängig gemacht, da es sich dabei offensichtlich um ein anderes Logo handelt. Das von Dir hochgeladene Bild ist bereits bei Commons als seperate Datei vorhanden. Bitte beachte, dass es sich bei der von Dir hochgeladenen Datei nicht um das offizielle Logo handelt. Bei der Telefonica gibt es seit Jahren zwei Versionen des Logos: weiß und blau. In einem Layout wie bei der WP ist die weiße Version, die weniger massiv ist, die bessere, dezentere Wahl. --Maxxl2 (talk) 23:17, 1 January 2013 (UTC)

Nachdem ich eine Vielzahl von Veröffentlichungen und Druckerzeugnissen von Telefonica mir angeschaut habe, erkenne ich ich eine Regel für den Logo-Einsatz:

• haben Druckerzeugnisse oder Webseiten einen blauen Hintergrund, so wird das blaue Logo genutzt,
• haben diese jedoch kein spezielles Layout oder Hintergrund, so wird das weiße Logo genutzt,

Äußerst selten ist, dass für das blaue Logo ein Extrakasten generiert wird. Beide Logos sind AFAIK gleichrangige Versionen. --Maxxl2 (talk) 11:43, 2 January 2013 (UTC)

@Vigneron - I just followed the advice of INeverCry at Administrators' noticeboard and reverted the edits of a vandal. The present version of Chatsam doesn't match with the written blazon. It doesnt match with the sources indicated. This Chatham's version has no source. It shows this Spanish crown on top of the ornament, which was never in the hands of a member of the Bonaparte family. This crown is a silly version as the blue pearl with a cross is in free flight over the bonnet which is practically impossible.

This matter was already discussed with the two authors Katepanomegas and Chatsam here.

No matter what, we don't overwrite a file like this (see Commons:Overwriting existing files).

Burn the thief was a vandal but Katepanomegas wasn't right either (and as you can see on his user page, he is pretty angry against Commons and don't want to see his files to be used).

I protected the m:The Wrong Version (as always), the blazon and his description could be fix later (when everybody agree on the changes).

If the problem is the crown, why not just change it and replace File:Corona de príncipe 2.svg by File:Imperial Crown of Napoleon Bonaparte.png. If the problem is the lack of sources, why don't you ask them to Chatsam.

Doing correction is a good thing but it must be done correctly.

For more than one year the Katepanomegas version was discussed, agreed and accepted as the valid version. Only because of the vandals action Chatsam started the editwar again. His version has no source and is pure POV. Plus since the beggining, Chastsam ask to Katepanomegas to not overwrite this file and reverted 6 minutes latter. It's Katepanomegas who started the edit war by reverting the revert 38 minutes latter (which should never be done).

So no, there isn't enough reason tho break the rules like this (moreover, the problem is not with the blazon − which is exactly the same in both versions − but with the ornaments).

Karte zum Britischen Empire

Hallo Maxxl2, Du hattest die Karte zu den Basen der Royal Navy gegen eine andere Karte im richtigen svg-Format ausgetauscht. Vom grafischen Aspekt her sieht die neue Karte zwar zweifellos besser aus. Sie hat aber einen entscheidenden Nachteil: sie zeigt die Grenzen von 2013, während die alte Karte die Grenzen in den 1920er Jahren zeigte, als das britische Empire noch existierte. Am Besten wäre natürlich eine svg-Weltkarte mit den Grenzen von etwa 1920 oder 1930, aber die habe ich nicht finden können. Gruß --Furfur (talk) 22:03, 2 February 2013 (UTC)

Naja, wie gesagt ist zwar das Britsche Empire flächenmäßig korrekt eingezeichnet, aber alle Grenzen entsprechen denen der Gegenwart. Spanish Artillery COA

Sorry for being late in the response. Thanks you very much for your advice and message at the SPA Navy Institute emblem deletion page.

I am trying to reduce many of file I've uploaded but there are but too many. Unfortunately Spanish Army is too strict with coats of arms and emblems, barrel cannons have to show Spanish royal arms used at the 18th Century when they are used as heraldic supporters, so the cannons without decorations are incorrect. There is an exception of a small number of cases that cannons are depicted without the royal coat of arms but they are always escutcheon elements. It is the situation of the coat of arms that you told me File:Coat of Arms of the Spanish Army Polytechnic School.svg. Simple versions are used for uniform patches but they are the shields without external ornaments [1]. I will try to resolve this problem but barel cannons with decorations should be maintained.

Hallo Maxxl2, diese Kategorisierung wie "in art" oder "in architecture" wurden nicht von mir hinzufügt, sie waren schon da. Mein Arbeit ist über Vatikan und Heiligen Stuhl. Ich umbennanne viele Bilder weil es viele doppel oder dreifache Bilder gibt (z.B.: File:Kardinalcoa.png und File:CardinalCoA PioM.svg, aber schau in die Category:Coats of arms of the Vatican City: fünf oder sechs Bilder über die selbe sache, und viele sind schrecklich...); wir hatten einige Problemen davon. So finde ich es besser, wenn die änliche Bilder einen änlichen Namen haben, so dass man wiss, was es gibt und was nicht, und was überschwänglich ist. --Gambo7 (talk) 16:39, 31 March 2013 (UTC)

Doppelte (identische) finde ich nicht gut. Danke für dein Klarheit schaffen. Bei dem "umbraculum" sind die Bilder aber weder ähnlich, noch haben sie das gleiche Format (SVG und JPG). Daher ist eine Nummer im Namen nicht erforderlich. Wäre ich der Uploader der Bilder, wäre ich enttäuscht, da die Originalsprache verloren geht und als Wikipedianer sehe ich einen Redirect mehr. Wiki soll in aller Welt arbeiten so Originalsprache sind nicht gut (und Redirects sind viel viel wichtiger Problemen als ein Originalsprachesname). Und die Umbraculum, sie sind nicht nur von Wappen Project, sie sind auch Kunstwerke und man braucht die richtige Kategorien für sie: File:Procession of the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ-Bruges; het conopeum.JPG. --Gambo7 (talk) 17:01, 31 March 2013 (UTC)

Commons ist international und multilingual. Es gibt keine Regel alle Dateinamen in Englische zu übersetzen. Selbst in Griechisch, Vietnamesisch, Japanisch, Hindi, Chinesisch kann ein Dateinamen geschrieben sein - oder willst du das ändern? Redirects sind Belastung für die Server. Vermeide Redirects wo immer möglich. Bitte ändere keine Dateinamen nur weil sie nicht Englisch sind. The escutcheon itself is certainly correct, but I agree with Katepanomegas' assessment: "Bonaparte are neither dukes nor grandes de España". Family coat of arms can be ornamented with a crown, but the Bonaparte family arms certainly wasn't. They were minor Italian nobility, and the external ornaments of this file are incorrect. Um des lieben Friedens Willen würde ich das gerne machen. Nur haben sich da schon einiger mir nicht näher bekannte User für ein "Behalten" eingesetzt, die ich auch nicht enttäuschen oder vor den Kopf stoßen will. Ich bin eigentlich der Überzeugung, dass ich Solidarität schätzen und nicht einseitig unterlaufen sollte. Bin ich da im Irrtum? Was soll ich denen sagen? Es tut mir leid, aber der Junge sollte mal etwas für sein Selbstbewusstsein tun, damit solche Ausraster und Schreie nach Aufmerksamkeit seltener werden und die Gemeinschaft weniger belastet wird. So sehr ich seinen Einsatz als Hilfssheriff und Aufräumer zu schätzen weiß, dies stellt ihn aber nicht frei von angemessenem Benehmen, Respekt für Mitglieder und angemaßten Privilegien, die er unverdient reklamiert. Hi Maxxl2, vielen Dank für den Hinweis. Die Löschantträge werde ich stellen. Kannst Du mal auf dem Eintrag "Kleve" in der Wikipedia gucken? Irgendjemand will da ständig sein eigenes -schlechteres- SVG gegen das schon vor Jahren von mir gezeichnete SVG austauschen. Seins SVG ist unsymmetrisch und wirklich schlechter. Kannst Du das klären? ich war mit dem Scharfstellen (unscharf maskieren mit Photoshop) doch etwas zu vorsichtig, ich habe die Werte etwas erhöht. Ich bin halt ein Vertreter der reinen Lehre, möglichst nahe am Original :-), was aber dann auch bedeutet, dass man im Grunde genommen Fehler, die zu einer anderen Zeit mit völlig anderen Mitteln (in diesem Fall um 1980 herum) mitnimmt. Bonjour Maxxl2, Pas du tout mais je ne sais pas si j'utilise la bonne boite pour les descriptions. J'ai eu une série de mails de common mais sans pouvoir y accéder (je ne voyais pas ce qui se passait, bizarre). Les liens menaient à une page vide. Et j'ai eu peur que quelqu'un supprime mes travaux. RE:Royal COA of the King of the Netherlands

According to the Dutch Wikipedia, there is indeed a crest like that, and Willem-Alexander did indeed intend to use it. He however retracted that intention, and the coat of arms remains the same as the queen (Source on the official website). Bonjour Etxeko - Vous recevrez ces e-mails parce que vous copiez plusieurs modèles dans l'autre. Il en résulte un gâchis. Le moteur de rendu HTML ne souviens pas ce qui est juste et supprime toutes les informations en double. J'ai corrigé cela par un autre fois. Regardez les changements et réduisez les informations double de les blasons restant ensuite avant que d'autres e-mails à venir. --Maxxl2 - talk 12:32, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
