Image:Xia xiao wan00.jpg

Could you please check OTRS for permissions regarding Image:Xia xiao wan00.jpg? The uploader claims to have forwarded a release agreement, but the image was uploaded in May and I would have expected someone with OTRS access to have edited the image page by now. Now look here, you're the one who caused this problem by being trigger-happy and not notifying the uploader, and you want me to go through bureaucracy hell to make it right again! That doesn't make sense. An admin's job is to support the community, not obstruct it. Please admit that you made a mistake and bring that image back again. --Himasaram 03:31, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
I think MECU's response indicates that he had a good reason for deleting the image (better than the single word "logo"). I suggest you check your work/facts before trying a deletion review, and please try to be more civil. Thanks!   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 10:27, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
As I already said, it's a Swedish city coat of arms; c.f. Category:Coats of arms of municipalities of Sweden. I drew the vectors myself. It might have been incorrectly tagged, but I expect to get forewarned if that is the case. I have invested a significant amount of time and effort in this project and don't appreciate my work getting randomly deleted. --Himasaram 12:33, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

You asked me to undelete, I said no and pointed you in the direction you should go for further help for un-deletion. Re-drawing something makes it a derivative work. MECU≈talk 17:26, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Why ???

Karl Knoch

Hi MECU; sorry, my English is not good, so i think i will make many misstakes in this short text. why have the pictures Image:Prof. Karl Knoch.jpg, Image:Grab Prof. Karl Knoch (1972).jpg and Image:Prof. Karl Knoch 1963.jpg been deleted? i wrote an email with the permission, so what went wrong? --Kaese90 12:33, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

The e-mail had not been processed and I saw nothing about an e-mail being sent. Don't worry, if the e-mail permission is satisfactory, the OTRS user can and will undelete the images and affix the OTRS stamp on them. MECU≈talk 19:51, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
