Chances of success

You added a message a few weeks ago that I should try to appeal my block at the Meta-Wiki and in light of some comments by a few admins here I don't think that it's unreasonable to believe that people want to initiate a global ban request against me soon so I would not want to be permanently blocked from two (2) projects as I am afraid that opposing the deletion of that barnstar is likely to get me indefinitely blocked here as well. But honestly, I don't know if it's wise to go through the route of another appeal, during the previous appeal (which I only made to propose some entries at the Community Tech Wishlist) very little remarks were made by closing admin other than that my talk page access should be revoked and I am sure that any appeal will immediately have my TPA revoked. So how much use would an appeal actually have? Would it be wise to look for "sponsors" or would that be seen as canvassing? The only way I was globally unlocked 🔓 was through another user proposing it and I have seen that asking users on-wiki for support in an unblock on other wiki's is usually seen as a blockable offense by itself.

I am not sure if an appeal is even wise to begin with. I'm asking you as you're the one that suggested it and seeing how often that user keeps adding misinformation to articles using multiple IP's I would like to request a global IP block but am obviously incapable of doing so. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 11:59, 4 October 2021 (UTC)

Out of scope?

Hello Jeff, wondering what to make of these contributions. Thank you for your time. Lotje (talk) 10:59, 9 October 2021 (UTC)

@Lotje: Per this edit, the user appears to be a confused 14-year-old with multiple accounts (Rohit Eknath Deore and Rohit Deore) who was bent on revealing too much personally identifiable information in multiple places on Wikipedia and uploading oos photos of himself taken by himself and others. I have tagged all created pages for deletion.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 11:43, 9 October 2021 (UTC)
Thank you ever so much Jeff. Lotje (talk) 11:52, 9 October 2021 (UTC)

Personallity rights of much more?

Hell Jeff, looking at these images and the global contributions of the uploader, it just does not feel right. Would you take a closer look? Thanks. Lotje (talk) 05:38, 10 October 2021 (UTC)

@Lotje: ✓ Done, files tagged with {{SD|F10}}.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 12:52, 10 October 2021 (UTC)

Reflexa9

There was a mistake. While I was trying to insert a picture related to an article. I wanted to report an error. Which I was not able to. Reflexa9 (talk) 17:30, 10 October 2021 (UTC)

@Reflexa9: In this edit, you messed up our robotic archival configuration for Commons talk:Abuse filter, rather than using the "Click here to report an issue with an abuse filter" link at the top of that page or making a new section at the bottom of that page.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 18:25, 10 October 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for the ping

Hi! I came back to Commons after a few days and saw your ping. May I ask why? Is this some sort of Wikipedia:Long-term abuse/Projects sockpuppet? Or other vandals from slwiki (such as Italian IP-masking master)? Thanks for the answer. A09090091 (talk) 14:28, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

@A09090091: Sorry, where and when was that ping?   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 14:44, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
Ahhh, sorry. It was one of the abuse filters: https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Commons_talk:Abuse_filter&oldid=prev&diff=596922959 A09090091 (talk) 14:47, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
@A09090091: Thanks, I see now. Once upon a time, there was a musician from Yoshkar-Ola, Republic of Mari-El, Russia who styled himself "rastroy", Vetyuioprw (talk · contributions · Move log · block log · uploads · Abuse filter log, and 188.187.148.85. He uploaded spammy photo File:Rastroy.jpg 19:53, 7 October 2021 (UTC), and then tried to upload File:Rastroy 2.jpg and File:0AHEFU27-i4.jpg at 19:56 and 19:57. He then spammed COM:FILTERT in this edit 20:08, 7 October 2021 (UTC) as 188.187.148.85. I saw what he had done, reported him to m:srg, reverted that edit, and (pinged you and Johnj1995 in this other edit 13:45, 8 October 2021 (UTC), probably because you both had been involved with his misbehavior, although I can't work out why exactly at present). No further action is necessary from you, as Ruslik was kind enough to lock his account.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 15:50, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

I'm worried that the file names, descriptions and the stated source might come across as advertisement. I'm also wary about changing these because it provides context of the pictures.
