Reload bug

@Jack who built the house: Hi, I think the reload button on the right (next to the up/down arrows) is now broken. It causes my screen to become narrower and messed up the tabs. I think I this is because Vector 2022 recently became its own skin. Can you confirm this (see w:WT:TWINKLE for a similar discussion). Qwerfjkl (talk) 07:26, 4 February 2022 (UTC)

Also note that this happens on both tablet and laptop. Ping me if you need a screenshot or more information. Qwerfjkl (talk) 14:51, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
@Qwerfjkl: Hi! I can't currently reproduce it. First, do you use new or old Vector? And yes, I already see some bugs due to new Vector becoming its own skin. Jack who built the house (talk) 21:56, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
New Vector (thanks for the ping). Qwerfjkl (talk) 22:12, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
I think this has been fixed at WP:Talk pages project. Qwerfjkl (talk) 15:09, 11 March 2022 (UTC)

Comment incorrectly parsed

At en:Wikipedia talk:Teahouse#202203111507_Qwerfjkl, it catches a bit of my signature if you try to edit it, probably because it's not recognised as part of the signature. (You should be hired!). Qwerfjkl (talk) 15:13, 11 March 2022 (UTC)

@Jack who built the house, @JWBTH,
Got two JS errors:
1. Uncaught (in promise) CdError: api/error/notloggedin (I am not logged in)
2. Couldn't find a number for a link (for a.sidebar-toc-link) on [1] - Alexis Jazz ping plz 01:58, 2 October 2022 (UTC)

@Alexis Jazz: Hi. (2) has been fixed a long time ago. I fixed (1) now (and improved the experience of not logged in users in general). Thx. Jack who built the house (talk) 17:09, 26 August 2023 (UTC)

Replying clears the unread comments count (and history)

@Jack who built the house

If there are unread comments, replaying to one of them will clear the unread comments count (and new comments history - you won't be able to go to the next/previous unread comment).

CD loaded as a script from common.js (not as gadget), pl.wikipedia.org. MarMi wiki (talk) 19:29, 11 November 2022 (UTC)

By unread comments I meant the number at the bottom of the arrows. The new comments, that were posted after loading the page (number at the top of the arrows), will turn to unread comments after sending a reply (which is fine by me). MarMi wiki (talk) 21:32, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
It seems that it doesn't reset the count anymore.
I take that back - it still do that. I don't know why it worked that one time (maybe there was an exact number of new replies, so after the reload the unread count remained the same). MarMi wiki (talk) 12:53, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
I don't think so. For me, the bug is still reproduced. Michgrig (talk) 18:54, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
Maybe it has something to do with the options? I tested it after the option reset in #No Subscribe links next to the topics (plwiki). MarMi wiki (talk) 19:27, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
It works sometimes - maybe if there's no new messages (no one posted anything; no reload needed), the unread count is kept? MarMi wiki (talk) 11:51, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
In my situation there's no new messages, except for those that I haven't read yet. But after a reply, the count of new messages clears. What is worse, additionally the up and down arrows stop moving to unread messages. Michgrig (talk) 14:21, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
Possible lead: it probably depends on the place your reply will be inserted - if it's on the bottom (below unread comments), then the count doesn't reset. (Or it may be because the reply was inserted precisely as the last one on the very bottom). MarMi wiki (talk) 12:33, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for the report, I'll investigate when I have spare time. Jack who built the house (talk) 06:03, 13 February 2023 (UTC)
This has been Fixed. Thank you for the report, @MarMi wiki, @Michgrig. Jack who built the house (talk) 11:50, 25 August 2023 (UTC)

Feature request: Detect moved (and then deleted) discussion pages

If an article is moved (and replaced by the redirection), the talk page is moved, and then deleted (at least on plwiki).
Maybe it's possible by CD to get to the new location? Either by checking the article for redirection, or by looking into operation log for the talk page.
Example: plwiki - first it's moved to a new location (perhaps at that moment there's a redirection on the talk page?), and then the old page is deleted. In this case, the article name changed twice. MarMi wiki (talk) 12:09, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
