License query

Hi File:Meira Kumar.jpg is a derivative (by cropping) of the original file shown there in the history. That original contains a link to Flickr as the source. When I went to the Flickr link, it shows permissions as CC BY-NC-ND 2.0 but we have a tag saying the permissions were reviewed in 2017 and were deemed to be ok, including for modifications. I suppose someone could have changed the permissions on the Flickr version in the interval but I think human error is more likely.

Does it matter? I'm not sure if the "no derivatives" applies to cropping or to something more creative. - Sitush (talk) 21:28, 6 February 2019 (UTC)

Hilfe bei Rename-Request erbeten

Hallo Hedwig,

bei diesem Foto müsste sich wohl ein(e) Admin um die Umbenennung kümmern. Darf ich Dich fragen? Das Bild wurde schon einmal umbenannt, aber der Urheber hat jetzt eine Rück-Umbenennung beantragt, mMn mit guten Gründen. Ich als einfacher Filemover kann die Rück-Umbenennung aber nicht erledigen, da sich unter dem ursprünglichen Dateinamen ja die Weiterleitungsseite befindet. Daher muss (wenn ich das richtig verstehe) erst die Weiterleitung gelöscht werden, damit dann das Bild zurückverschoben werden kann …
