Category:Tauroctony reliefs of Italy Notice !
Hi Elkost. You moved this category to "Tauroctony reliefs in Italy". This is wrong. You cannot put in the same category in Italy objects that are in Italy with other they are in France or in the USA. All art categories of Italy are organized like this: in Italy for objects they was found or created in Italy and are still there; from Italy for objects they are found or created in Italy but now are in another country. The two categories in and from are collected in the upper cat of Italy. How you can see, I resolved the problem now. Please, in the future, consider this category tree for art categories. Thank you. Best regards, --DenghiùComm (talk) 12:37, 5 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, DenghiùComm! I have not checked whether all of its subcategoreis and immages refer to objects „in“ the country. Thank you! --Elkost (talk) 12:48, 5 March 2017 (UTC)
When is an antelope not an antelope?
I've reverted your addition of File:Antelope County Courthouse (Nebraska) W roof antelope.JPG to Category:Antelopes in art. The creature depicted on the courthouse is a pronghorn; although it's commonly called an "antelope" in America, it's not a true antelope. The category in which you placed it is nested in taxonomic categories like Category:Antilopinae to which the pronghorn doesn't belong. Ammodramus (talk) 14:09, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
- OK, thanks. --Elkost (talk) 14:11, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
Reversion
Hi Elkost, I just wanted to let you know that I reverted your categorization changes on File:Kevin Crawford on the bodhrán.jpg. I realize what you were trying to do, but this was Irish folk music in Switzerland, so Category:Folk music of Ireland and Category:Folk music festivals both fit, but Category:Folk music festivals in Ireland is inaccurate. Cheers, Storkk (talk) 17:46, 12 May 2017 (UTC)
- OK, thank you, Storkk! --Elkost (talk) 17:48, 12 May 2017 (UTC)
Stagecoach??
Hi, this vehicle is a horse-drawn charabanc. Would you like to discuss this? Best regards, Eddaido (talk) 11:45, 6 June 2017 (UTC)
- OK. Then, if the charabanc is a bus type, our file should be in both „Category:Horse-drawn buses“ and „Category:Charabancs“. --Elkost (talk) 18:03, 6 June 2017 (UTC)
- A charabanc is not a bus. Why include it in buses? And by the way motorised charabancs were very popular so they would need to be horse-drawn charabancs. Thanks, Eddaido (talk) 21:49, 6 June 2017 (UTC)
- Dear Eddaido, above You have attached the article „Charabanc“ in the En.Wiki. This article is included in „Category:Bus transport in the United Kingdom“, „Category:Animal-powered vehicles“, „Category:Buses by type“. In order to differentiate motorised and horse-drawn charabancs, we need to create separate subcategories for them. --Elkost (talk) 04:36, 7 June 2017 (UTC)

Church halls
In what way are church halls "Christian buildings"? They are attached to churches, yes, but are secular in nature. No religious activity generally takes place in them. They should be subcatted from churches because they are an adjunct to them in the same way that churchyards are. Rodhullandemu (talk) 09:45, 19 June 2017 (UTC)
- Dear Rodhullandemu, you should ask W!B: about his categorisation (14:49, 28 декември 2011) of „Category:Church halls“ to „Category:Christian buildings“. Most probably he had consulted the article en:Church hall. --Elkost (talk) 09:57, 19 June 2017 (UTC)
- OK, I've moved it from "Christian buildings" to "Churches" as their purpose is not primarily religious, but they are associated with churches. Rodhullandemu (talk) 10:38, 19 June 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, Zugroaster! I'm sorry, but I will answer in English, because my knowledge of German is not good. I suppose that you mean my edit of „Category:Interiors of chapels in Germany“. My wish was to separate it because it concerns an aspect of chapels while the other categories consist of subcategories about chapels of various kinds and places. There is no rule about this (at least I don't know). This my edit is not important, you are free to return it back. Have a nice day! --Elkost (talk) 14:23, 22 June 2017 (UTC)
Palazzo della Meridiana
Hi. All these edits are incorrect, that palace is not a church. Maybe better "Frescoed ceilings in Italy". --Superchilum(talk to me!) 07:27, 7 July 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, Superchilum! It's my mistake, thank you. I'll move it/them to "Category:Frescoed ceilings in Italy". Have a nice day! --Elkost (talk) 07:41, 7 July 2017 (UTC)
Metacat template
Hello, Elkost. When using the {{MetaCat}} template, please remember to include the required sort parameter. For example, on Category:Former churches in Scotland by city, the template should look like thus:
{{MetaCat|city}}
Thanks. If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask. --Auntof6 (talk) 16:44, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you, Auntof6! --Elkost (talk) 16:54, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
More info about statues in Sofia
Thanks for adding categories to photo's I have taken in Sofia recently. As I have seen that you are from Bulgeria, may be you can give more info or adding categories to the following images. File:Statue in Sofia 03.jpg, File:Statue in Sofia 01.jpg with a detailed image of the text File:Statue in Sofia 02.jpg. The statues are on a place near the Sveti Sedmochislenitsi Church (see File:Sveti Sedmochislenitsi Church 01.jpg). Thanks in advance. 11:44, 1 October 2017 (UTC)Wouter (talk)
- Thanks to you, Wouter, to upload images from Sofia! The bust represents Nikola Petkov – a MP and a leader of a political party after the 2WW. On the info plate of the memorial is written: In memory of the fallen Bulgarian policemen. The white building behind them is the Ministry of Interior. I will add categories. --Elkost (talk) 12:07, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you very much! Wouter (talk) 16:25, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
Countries
Hi. I know nothing or too little about templates. Can you please add Northern Cyprus to the Countries of Europe template, as "limited recognition". It is recognized by "at least" one UN member and has a better standing than some of the entities therein. Thank you. --E4024 (talk) 09:24, 2 October 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, E4024! I am sorry, but I cannot do this: I have tried several times to make changes in this template, but all of them were wrong and I have reverted them back. --Elkost (talk) 09:28, 2 October 2017 (UTC)
Categories
Could you please kindly don’t remove any categories from the “Last address” images. Thank you. -- Wavepainter (talk) 21:04, 15 December 2017 (UTC)
