Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Your deletion requests

@ Hello User:Achim55, the problem here is that I uploaded these images as a test (these were my first uploads) and then I released that these images are considered "digital images of 3D objects". So, I had to add a copyright for the object itself (which is in public domain), but also a copyright for the image (photographer/text) (see an example https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Altamura_Painter_-_Red-Figure_Calyx_Krater_-_Walters_48262_-_Side_B.jpg ). I have asked for permission by the organization and the photographer, but I don't have yet an official answer. That is why I think that it is better to delete these images (since I cannot provide the right copyright)and once I receive the permission, I will upload them again. What do you think? Hello EVDiam, are you progressed with your upload problem Incidentally? If you just want a category link, so the page does not want to add to the category [[:category:Michelangelo Caetani]], so you get category:Michelangelo Caetani. Regards --Jean11 (talk) 22:12, 9 November 2015 (UTC)

Ok. If you want to add a file or page to a category (example category:Michelangelo Caetani) you write [[category:Michelangelo Caetani]] (example, you can also use Help:Gadget-HotCat). But if you want to specify only a link to a category, for example on your user page you write [[:category:Michelangelo Caetani]] (before "category" ":"). --Jean11 (talk) 17:54, 10 November 2015 (UTC)

A suggestion

You can use Template:Speedydelete to request the deletion of a file recently uploaded by obvious mistake. Usually, it draws the attention of a sysop more quickly than a normal deletion request. -- Asclepias (talk) 18:56, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

Incorrect use of curly braces

Hi. You rollbacked 4 correction that I have done like this. This is not a good idea. If you want give the link to the category of the creator, please use [[:]], not {{}}, different way the link works like a template and will give to the file all the categories of that other category. If you look e.g. at this file of an old maps, you will see that it is full of wrong categories (year of birth, year of death, etc.) that belongs all to the person that has create this work, not the work itself. If you go to the Category:People by name, between all portraits of people you will find your maps. This is absurd! Please correct now this situation. Thank you very much! Hello DenghiùComm. Thank you for your message. I just realized what you said about the hidden category "People by name". Of course, I will correct it. However, adding [[ instead of {{ , I cannot see the artist field. Do you know how I can use the creator template without the hidden category "People by name"? Yes, of course the template is {{Creator:Name Artist}} and not {{Category:Name Artist}}. There is the same problem for the maps by Michelangelo Caetani that you have upload; but there is necessary before to create the template of this artist.
