- In this week's update by the Abstract Wikipedia and Wikifunctions team, they are asking where the right place to store and maintain Abstract Wikipedia should be. All of the options involve Wikidata to some extent, some more, some less. If the content of Abstract Wikipedia is hosted on Wikidata, that would lead to an increased scope for the Wikidata community (and likely more contributors joining). But that is a decision the Wikidata community needs to be involved in as well. (Also, if you are interested, the Abstract Wikipedia updates might be worth to follow.)

Help
Hi, I have uploaded a file, but used an unwanted name. Can you help me rename it? Thanks for reading. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/01/Flag_of_House_of_Tr%E1%BA%A7n.webp.png Daeva Trạc (talk) 20:50, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- Daeva Trạc, there is a menu on the top right of a page if it is in "Desktop mode", click on it and then click on "Move", it will then give you a menu where you can rename the file. Read everything thoroughly first (1st) and then write down the new name and why you want to move it. Unfortunately I am not a file mover so I can't make the move for you, but if you follow the above instructions it will allow a file mover to do it for you. — Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 20:53, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- Daeva Trạc, Now that I have your attention, where can I verify that this file was released under the claimed Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International license? As you didn't provide a link 🖇️ to the website you got it from. — Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 20:57, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- I will provide the link to that website. I drew the flag based on the web’s description. Thanks for helping about the naming thing. Daeva Trạc (talk) 21:00, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- Daeva Trạc, the flag is fine, my main issue is with the photographs. Do you know how to upload a file locally to Wikipedia? You do it through this form, fair use images are allowed at Wikipedia, but not the Wikimedia Commons. — Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 21:02, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- I will provide the link to that website. I drew the flag based on the web’s description. Thanks for helping about the naming thing. Daeva Trạc (talk) 21:00, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- Daeva Trạc, Excuse me for bothering you again, but where was this file taken, and by whom, at what date? As it appears to be from Japan how do you know that it is freely licensed? In case those images aren't free I'd advise you to upload them locally to Wikipedia and delete them at the Wikimedia Commons, please read "COM:LICENSING". Note that Wikipedia allows fair use but the Wikimedia Commons only allows free files, those flags are fine as they are your own work, though I'd still provide a source as there are overzealous deletionists here who want to delete any unofficial flag without a source, even with a source of they don't find it "important" enough. — Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 21:00, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- The Viet Tan one is an image from the party’s own page on social media, I will cite it if you suggest; and the other one (of Cường Để) is an image that already available on the Wiki-Vietnam version, I couldn’t use for the English site, so I have to change the name from “Tập tin” to “File”. Daeva Trạc (talk) 21:06, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- Daeva Trạc, I see, permission seemed to have been granted here and is used on several images. {{Rename|1=Fantasy flag of the Tran Dynasty|2=|3=|user=Daeva Trạc}}
--Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 21:05, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry to bother you, but when will it be renamed? Do I have to do anything? Daeva Trạc (talk) 22:09, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- Daeva Trạc, files that require renaming get sorted into a category called "https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Media_requiring_renaming" 2+233 where they will be picked up by a file mover. Currently, there are 28 (twenty-eight) files awaiting a file 🗃️ mover. This could take a couple of hours, you can immediately use the file now and then on Wikipedia it will be automatically renamed by a robot 🤖. -- — Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 22:39, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
If you want to use the image you can simply copy and paste this:
[[File:Flag of House of Trần.webp.png|thumb|right|You can use the image like this.]]
And then use it at a Wikipedia, there's no need to wait for the rename. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 22:41, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
Also, if you know where to find more fictional Vietnamese flags then please upload them, add a link 🖇️ (URL) to the website to attribute it, and then add it to the category page "Category:Fictitious flags of Vietnam", sometime ago I tried to collect all, but I wasn't able to find all. It's always nice to have an extra pair of hands helping around looking for these. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 22:43, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- Sure thing, thank you for being patient enough to help this new Wikipedian. Daeva Trạc (talk) 22:57, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
- Daeva Trạc, I'm always happy to help, if you need my help with anything else just ask. As nobody responded on the talk page of "List of Vietnamese flags" I think that you can make a list there, as long as you provide reliable sources either in the body of the text or in the description of the origin of the flag.
By the way, the Vietnamese-language Wikipedia no longer has an article entitled "Danh sách cờ Việt Nam" which did exist in the past, maybe it will be possible to create more pages like that so there's more visibility of the subject and more people will upload flags. -- — Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 23:10, 30 March 2023 (UTC)

The Universal Code of Conduct (UCoC) project team has completed the analysis of the feedback accompanying the ratification vote on the Universal Code of Conduct Enforcement Guidelines.
Following the completion of the UCoC Enforcement Guidelines Draft in 2022, the guidelines were voted on by the Wikimedian community. Voters cast votes from 137 communities, with the top 9 communities being: English, German, French, Russian, Polish, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Italian Wikipedias, and Meta-wiki.
Those voting had the opportunity to provide comments on the contents of the Draft document. 658 participants left comments. 77% of the comments are written in English. Voters wrote comments in 24 languages with the largest numbers in English (508), German (34), Japanese (28), French (25), and Russian (12).
A report will be sent to the Revision Drafting Committee who will refine the enforcement guidelines based on the community feedback received from the recently concluded vote. A public version of the report is published on Meta-wiki here. The report is available in translated versions on Meta-wiki. Please help translate to your language
Again, we thank all who participated in the vote and discussions. We invite everyone to contribute during the next community discussions. More information about the Universal Code of Conduct and Enforcement Guidelines can be found on Meta-wiki.
