File:Mario Brunello (3).jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.) Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

File:Mario Brunello (1).jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

Copyright status: File:Mario Brunello (1).jpg
[edit]This media may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading File:Mario Brunello (1).jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.
If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with GFDL to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with PD-self to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.) If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there. Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you. |

centro filologico
[edit]Ciao.

--Brunokito (talk) 21:14, 24 March 2016 (UTC)

File tagging File:Ilian Fleming.jpg
[edit]This media was probably deleted.
|
Thanks for uploading File:Ilian Fleming.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the No permission since tag with on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded (:File:Ilian Fleming.jpg ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.Elisfkc (talk) 19:01, 2 August 2016 (UTC)

Piccole sbavature
Grazie. --Alexmar983 (talk) 07:10, 1 October 2016 (UTC)

Copyright status: File:Bruno Biondi.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Bruno Biondi.jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.
If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. Reminder: Round 2 of Picture of the Year 2016 is open!
[edit]You are receiving this message because you voted in R1 of the 2016 Picture of the Year contest.
Dear Brunokito,
Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2016 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eleventh edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2016) to produce a single Picture of the Year.
Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.
There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. In Round 1, there were 1475 candidate images. There are 58 finalists in Round 2, comprised of the top 30 overall as well as the top #1 and #2 from each sub-category.
In the final round, you may vote for just one or maximal three image to become the Picture of the Year.
Round 2 will end on 20 April 2017, 23:59:59 UTC.
Thanks,
--Wikimedia Commons Picture of the Year committee 08:42, 16 April 2017 (UTC)
Categorizzazione

Grazie.--Alexmar983 (talk) 12:36, 13 June 2017 (UTC)

[edit]As a courtesy to other editors, it is Commons:Signatures policy to sign your posts on talk pages, user talk pages, deletion requests, and noticeboards. To do so, simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments. Your user name or IP address (if you are not logged in) and the date will then automatically be added along with a timestamp when you save your comment. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion). Thank you.

File:Amandhafox wiki2.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation.
Copyright violations
[edit]
Hello Brunokito.
You have uploaded one or more files that are copyright violations. You have done so despite requests from editors not to do so, and despite their instructions. See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules by subject matter useful. This is your last warning. The next time you upload a file that violates copyright, you will be blocked. Please leave me a message if you have further questions. |

Autopatrol given
[edit]Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. ~riley (talk) 04:56, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

We don't know the owner of copyright and thus should delete that image. Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

File tagging File:Paulo szot awards.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Paulo szot awards.jpg.
Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded (:File:Paulo szot awards.jpg ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

Thanks for uploading File:Beethoven - Consecration of the House (Die Weihe des Hauses), Op 124.pdf.
Thank you. |

Replacing Wikimedia Commons images with AI upscaled/denoised images
[edit]Hello Brunokito,
Thank you for your contributions; your edits seem to be made in very good faith. However, many of your recent changes to images have issues. Most of these issues are caused by the use of what appears to be applying denoising and/or AI upscaling methods, which, while the effort to improve images is greatly appreciated, the unfortunate result of most is an image that is of worse quality.
Denoising and AI upscaling methods often result in losing detail, not increasing detail. Image viewers and web browsers automatically scale images; upscaling low resolution images, in particular signatures, only increases the file size, wasting bandwidth and storage space for zero improvement. While AI upscaling certainly has promise, it isn't where it needs to be when it comes to accuracy and preserving detail, certainly not for blanket replacement of images.
Automatic colorization often results in images that are downright hideous. Look at this image for instance. This is an objectively worse image than the original. The colors are wrong, detail is substantially reduced, the text is less legible; there is nothing about this modification that warrants its use over the original.
Furthermore, per Wikipedia policy (WP:MoS/Images), it's inappropriate to use AI upscaling for historical images:
AI upscaling software should generally not be used to increase the resolution or quality of an old or low-resolution image. Original historical images should always be used in place of AI upscaled versions. If an AI-upscaled image is used in an article, this fact should be noted in its caption.
These machine learning algorithms invent details, and are inaccurate at best, and misleading at worst.
I've reverted most of the images that this was your sole modification to; for the images you cropped or applied contrast correction, I'm in the process of recreating your changes without upscaling.
Please refrain from using AI upscaling images to replace images on Wikimedia Commons in the future. Thank you! - MeanMotherJr (talk) 09:22, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- Okay, it will be my care for the future of not changing the images. Many thanks for the explanation and I'm sorry I have created a lot of disorder. Brunokito (talk) 10:11, 30 March 2024 (UTC)

- I didn't understand why I would have violated copyright, I uploaded to Commons a simple image of no artistic value belonging to me as it was present in one of my music books that I scanned and I extracted it from there. The fact that such a file already existed was a coincidence. Since the file name was probably different, a completely accidental duplication was created. 2A01:E11:2013:D110:A99A:B52E:3E5E:692C 17:28, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
- There is no copyright problem. The same file was uploaded twice. I deleted one of them. --Achim55 (talk) 18:05, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
