First steps tutorial

Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content).

You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki.

Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks
  • Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
  • You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
  • Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
  • To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
  • You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
  • There are several tools to upload files.
  • Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.
Made a mistake?
  • Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it.
  • Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

The file is authentic, edited by me and Michele Nardelli in 2009. No other information was used unless the hypothesis of time negativity, which I formulated myself. Le foto sono scannerizzate dall'originale cartaceo del proprietario che me le ha date per pubblicarle, ed io utilizzo Linux per ritagliarle e ripulirle. Dimmi tu che posso fare...grazie per le future indicazioni ciao.

Allora, quello che devi fare è far inviare a permissions-it@wikimedia.org l'autorizzazione da parte del fotografo che dica: "Sono il fotografo che ha realizzato tali e tali foto pubblicate in tale rivista e autorizzo alla loro pubblicazione con licenza CC BY-SA 4.0". Una volta fatto questo, i tuoi caricamenti saranno "autorizzato" da un'opportuno template. Se hai dubbi, chiedi pure. --Ruthven (msg) 17:28, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Seguirò l'indicazione, ma l'autore delle fotografie è oramai irreperibile, dato che sono del 1993, Il proprietario delle foto - che è anche il pilota in questione - me le ha passate di sua spontanea volontà ed io mi sono preso l'impegno di cercare di pubblicarle - anche e soprattutto in vista di una voce specifica dedicata al pilota in questione. Piuttosto, mi sai dire dove trovo le griglie che inquadrano i risultati sportivi??? purtroppo, quelle che ho realizzato da solo sono insufficienti ed hanno causato il ritardo nella sua pubblicazione. Senza l'autorizzazione del fotografo, temo che i file non si possano pubblicare perché costituiscono una violazione del diritto d'autore (a meno che le foto non siano state scattate più di 20 anni fa in Italia). In effetti possedere una foto (o un film) non rende automaticamente proprietario dei diritti d'autore. Per quanto riguarda le griglie, sulla Wikipedia in italiano, l'ideale è copiare da una voce preesistente, come le tabelle presenti in Loris_Capirossi. In ogni modo, puoi entrare in contatto con gli altri utenti del "Progetto Sport" a Discussioni_progetto:Sport. Saluti --Ruthven (msg) 18:44, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Grazie dei preziosi consigli: devo quindi supporre che anche le altre possano sollevare delle questioni, ma il materiale è antiquato ed io ho scannerizzato solo foto originali del proprietario.
