Our first steps tour and our FAQ will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy. You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold contributing here and assume good faith for the intentions of others. This is a wiki—it is really easy. More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel irc:wikimedia-commons #wikimedia-commons (direct access). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at Commons talk:Licensing. |

File:QGis Logo.png
[edit]I uploaded QGis Logo.png from the QGIS Wiki to File:QGis Logo.png, to display QGIS logo.svg in {{Created with Quantum GIS}}
. I assume the logo is under {{Cc-by-sa-3.0}} because that is the license for the whole QGIS Wiki, and the logo graphic had no separate permission. Is this licensing correct? --Teratornis (talk) 01:24, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
Karte Nationalpark Kalkalpen
[edit]Hallo Anitagraser,
Vielen Lieben Dank --Nationalpark Kalkalpen (talk) 09:07, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
- Es wäre wahrscheinlich sinnvoller die Karte mit der neuen zu ersetzen anstatt sie zu löschen. Ich denke jeder User kann neue Versionen hochladen. --Anitagraser (talk) 10:36, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
- Habe die Löschung beantragt: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Karte_Nationalpark_Kalkalpen.png
Vielen lieben Dank --5.159.5.201 13:45, 15 January 2015 (UTC)
File tagging File:Portrait Anita Graser.jpg
[edit]This media was probably deleted.
|
Thanks for uploading File:Portrait Anita Graser.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Portrait Anita Graser.jpg]] ) and the above demanded information in your request. |
Lord Belbury (talk) 18:56, 10 October 2022 (UTC)
- Dear Belbury, where can I find the link/button "Challenge speedy deletion"? I followed the example of https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Portrait_Werner_Faymann_(2774738762).jpg which is by the same author and contains the same note "Foto honorarfrei für redaktionelle Verwendung" in EXIF. Anitagraser (talk) 19:09, 10 October 2022 (UTC)
- The button should be on the file page.
- I don't know about the status of that other file, but you need to show that Johannes Zinner gave you permission to release this particular photo as CC-Attribution. If Zinner is on record as releasing all of his work under that licence, you can link to a page that confirms that. Otherwise you'll probably need him to send email confirmation to Wikimedia Commons. --Lord Belbury (talk) 19:23, 10 October 2022 (UTC)
