Proszę, opisuj zdjęcia
[edit]Jeśli nie znasz angielskiego, dodawaj chociaż polski opis. Ktoś to potem może przetłumaczy, ale musi najpierw wiedzieć, co jest na zdjeciu. A.J. 10:38, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- Ale skoro znasz i angielski i niemiecki na przyzwoitym poziomie, najlepiej dodawaj opisy trójjęzyczne :) A.J. 10:40, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
Źródło i licencja
Image Tagging Image:Wapen.jpg
[edit]
Thanks for uploading Image:Wapen.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. If the content is a derivative of a copyrighted work, you need to supply the names and a licence of the original authors as well.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use cc-by-sa-2.5 to release it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license or PD-self to release it into the public domain. See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find all your uploads using the Gallery tool. Thank you. Korrekte Lizenzen
[edit]Hallo!

Category:Coats of arms from the Westerwaldkreis landkreisweise Unterkategorien anlegst, in denen du zumindest die von dir hochgeladenen Wappen einsortierst?

How did you make Akrafjall.svg ?
[edit]How did you make Image:Akrafjall-svg-PL.svg, i.e. how did you get the coastline, elevation and contour data as well as the names of the various places on the map? I'm interested because I'd like to use that work for OpenStreetMap (under CC-SA) but it seems a bit too good to be true that that map is self-made. --Ævar Arnfjörð Bjarmason (talk) 21:48, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
- Hi! I based on maps from Landmælingar Íslands, Allgau (talk) 22:26, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
- I'm afraid that means your map is probably non-free, maps by the Icelandic Geodesic survey are not under a free license and unless you obtained permission to base a free map on their data your map is proprietary as it is derived from their proprietary data. --Ævar Arnfjörð Bjarmason (talk) 14:57, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- See sources in Image:Map at millstaetter see.svg, Allgau (talk) 22:38, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- That map is made from map24 and KAGIS sources and is of a lake in Austria, how is it relevant to the map of Akrafjall? --Ævar Arnfjörð Bjarmason (talk) 01:47, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

Tip: Categorizing images
[edit]
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.BotMultichillT 05:36, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Misspelling inside png picture
[edit]Please note that the name of the station is SKARPNÄCK, not SKARPÄNCK.
However, since I don't have means, nor knowledge enough, I can not change the picture.
Actually, just as a curiosity, the name of the station consists of two connected words, SKARP and NÄCK. SKARP means sharp in english. NÄCK means nude (or without clothes). It's a rather odd name for a suburb.
SKARP can also mean, if it has to do with weapons, that it is for real, not blanks.

Autopatrol given
[edit]Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded (:File:Xu Xiaoming.jpg ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons, and Commons:Image casebook for some specific examples. Some other Wikimedia projects have different licensing policies. For example, the English Wikipedia allows fair use of sounds and photographs. This is not the case on Wikimedia Commons; "fair use" materials are not acceptable here.
Please make sure that you only upload educational content you have created yourself, those which are out of copyright, or those for which you have the required permission for the work to be used in all the ways described above. Please note that derivative works of copyrighted material are also considered copyrighted. Again, please read through Commons:Licensing, which is quite crucial, to understanding how Wikimedia Commons works. Thanks for your contribution, and please do leave me a message if you have further questions. And also:
