Bug

There is "now" a possible big problem with the given regexp syntax on templates, which allow user signature. Because there is other template syntax excluded "([^\{\}]*)\}\}" to hit, but the default user signature has "now" "<span class="signature-talk">{{int:Talkpagelinktext}}</span>". So this need to be fix on each relevant template separately. I propose with "([^\n]*)\}\}" PS: I also see now {{filepath:...}} is used sometimes (on source e.q.) which leads to the same error. -- User: Perhelion 12:37, 1 January 2018 (UTC)

Actually, one shouldn't to it regexp-based but parse the wikitext and remove the template from the tree created. MediaWiki:Gadget-libWikiDOM.js's mw.libs.wikiDOM.parser (and some other scripts) are capable doing this. Should be also possible loading Parsoid Code, looking for the template, remove it, and store. -- Rillke^(q?) 23:09, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
