After long discussions on the Commons Mailing list I decided to remove the deletion warning in this template. CC-by-3.0 is a free license. See good arguments why It's fee an why we don't have to wait for a Foundation decision in Erik Moellers comment and Jimbos comment. --Ikiwaner 09:19, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

We also may wish to add a note that if they don't provide a 1= then people can be confused on how to attribute. I have seen a few ask on the help desk and we usually steer them to the talk page of the creator.--Canoe1967 (talk) 00:16, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Translate

[edit]

Hello I want to translate this template to kazakh language. How and where I can do it. --Мұхамеджан Амангелді (talk) 07:52, 31 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any reason why iw is added directly?

[edit]

I just noticed that there is iw links added directly to the template. Is there any reason for that except perhaps noone removed them? --MGA73 (talk) 07:58, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@MGA73 I see now reason and have removed them now after cross checking with Wikidata. Raymond (talk) 06:30, 2 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Raymond Thank you. I have been trying to link templates wikiwide on Wikidata and I think most are now added to Wikidata. --MGA73 (talk) 07:45, 2 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
