English: Routemaster bus RM1933 (reg. ALD 933B) was delivered to London Transport in June 1964. It operated in standard red livery until 1983, when it was one of several buses, of different types, to be given a special liveries to mark London Transport's 50th anniversary (all buses received an anniversary logo worn to the front of side of the bus). RM1933, by then a showbus for Chalk Farm (CF) bus garage, was one of the batch of buses to receive a red/white/black/silver livery which resembled the 1933 version of London Transport's livery (the livery can be seen in this image of RM2116, which kept the special livery and logo into preservation). RM1933 however was returned to standard red livery by 1984. In August 1986 it was sold to Kelvin Scottish for further use from April 1987, before being sold to Stagecoach Perth in August 1987, who transferred it two months later to Stagecoach Cumberland, who used it until 1997 before putting it into store at Whitehaven. In 2000 it was one of a batch of buses bought back by London Bus Services Ltd, being rebuilt and re-engined (Cummins) by Marshall's of Cambridge, for further use in London. It went into operation on route 13 from June 2001 for Sovereign Bus & Coach, before being finally withdrawn in October 2005. After being returned to LBSL, it was selected as one of the few buses to continue in service on the Routemaster Heritage Routes, going into service allocated to East London on London Buses heritage route 15 from November 2005. In that same month, it was part of the London Lord Mayor's Show, and went on to be used at other events also aswell as operating the heritage route. In March 2008 it was given a special Indian Red and Platinum livery to commemorate two anniversaries - the 75th anniversary of London Transport, and the centenary of the bus garage in Bow (BW), East London. In October 2009 it was repainted into the red/white/black/silver 1933 livery (minus the 50th centenary logo).
