The Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial is a presidential memorial dedicated to the memory of U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and to the era he represents. Dedicated on May 2, 1997, the monument, spread over 7.5 acres, and traces 12 years of the history of the United States. The memorial was designed by en:Lawrence Halprin, and includes sculptures and works by en:Leonard Baskin, en:Neil Estern, Robert Graham, Thomas Hardy, and George Segal.
