This video looks like a modern edit, so are we sure it's public domain? Especially in regard to the music. Just curious Nesnad (talk) 07:00, 17 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Yann: i share User:Nesnad's concern. the font is obviously a modern computer font. https://web.archive.org/web/20170404201401if_/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czr-98yo6RU shows it might actually be a compilation edited by Aaron1912?--RZuo (talk) 16:52, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The music and the comments are certainly original. The text is very short, and not creative enough to have a copyright. IMHO, it is OK. Regards, Yann (talk) 22:12, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Yann and Nesnad: It would be good to know how it has been generated, i.e. references of the original parts of the montage ; I think these are excepts of multiple sources, mostly US and probably including science fiction films and news reels from the 30s ; I tried to compare to my own copy of Metropolis and of Things to Come just in case, without success. Are we sure all sources are PD since some are probably from after 1925, especially the talking ones which look very 30s to me. Not sure it is such a good idea to promote it on first page.Hektor (talk) 15:44, 31 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
