Description
Svenska: Locket stängs med två hakar. Locket går delvis fram över klaviaturen med heltonstangenterna, fanerade med svärtat trä, halvtonstangenterna med elfenben.
Tre svarvade registerandrag av svärtat trä på höger sida: 4 8 samt stum. På väggen bakom tangenterna textat med guldfärg mot brunmålad botten: "Politicus Musica est clavius aulae et promotionis. Theologus - Ecercitium musices est sensus vitae aeternae,". På lösa ribbor över klangbotten i svart färg mot guldgrund: "Philosophus: Nihil est tam expers humanitatis quod non arte capiatur et amore musices.". "Medicus: Musica est vitae et sanitatis nutrimentum".
Klangbotten med lock av obehandlad gran, rosettfönster. Naturalistiska blommor, fåglar och insekter målade med oljefärg. På undersidan av klavecinens lock, främre delen, målat musicerande kvinnor, kvinnlig silversmed, Athena, pegasus. På bakre delen: sovande herde, Mercurius med stav, som spelar på herdeflöjt.
På lockets ovansida, främre delen, samt på lådans hörn målade beslagsornament.
Något rostiga gångjärn till lockets båda delar.
