Description
English: The Birthplace Of Scotland's Flag The church at Athelstaneford, in East Lothian. This area is credited with the birth of the Saltire flag, from the appearance of a white cross in the sky during a battle. This inspired the Scots and Picts to achieve victory against the odds.
