Description
English: St John, Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
An impressively large church in the Perpendicular Gothic style by William Hurst and W. B. Moffatt, 1843-8. Grade II listed. It was built and paid for by the Aire and Calder Navigation Company which began to develop the adjacent port in 1826.
