Description

Depicted people: Ahasverus, and Ester (drottning)

Svenska: Stomme av ben, 24 delar. Rikt genombrutet arbete. Dekor i två zoner, nertill sockel, tolv röda och tio vita blad, målad dekor i ockra, vitt och brunt, endast delvis genombrutet. Övre zonen i delvis mycket genombrutet arbete, tre fält med reliefdekor, i mitten figurscen, kvinna, man, pojke och hund. De yttre visar blomsterurnor. Målad dekor i flera färger och guldbrons, blommor m.m.. De yttre bladen går över solfjäderns hela bredd, snidad, delvis genombruten dekor, bl.a. kines.

På stommen fäst 130 mm bred skärm av pergament med målad dekor. På utsidan figurscen i gouache, Ester inför Ahasverus, till höger A. I hermelinsbrämad röd mantel, turban med antik krona, spira, bakom honom page och gammal man med turban, till höger vitskäggig man i brun dräkt och blå mantel. Till vänster tre kvinnor, Ester i blå klänning och gulbrun underkjol, kvinnan till vänster i grön klänning, till höger i brunt. Längst till vänster man i grå dräkt.

I ytterkanterna kinesiserande blommor i rosa och gult med guldinslag. På insidan dekor i gouache med guldbronseffekter, spridda blommor. I mitten sittande kvinna med stav (herdinna), dräkt i blått och brunt, till vänster oval medaljong med sittande kinesisk kvinna, dräkt i blått, rött och gult, till höger rektangulärt fält med olika kärl i blått, rött och gult, till höger rektangulärt fält med olika kärl i blått, grönt, rosa och lila, stående på rosa matta. Bladen nertill ihopfästade med silverstift(?).
