Slipsten av gotländsk sandsten.

Description
Svenska: SLIPSTEN Av gotländsk sandsten (s. k. Burgsvikssten), med stativ av järn, gjutet. Sten rund, trädd på en axel och fastspänd mellan två på denna gängade runda skivor med utstående sexsidiga mutterstycken; axeln rörlig i två lager, fästa vartdera med två skivor. Stativ av två parallellt ställda höga bågar, vilkas ändar utgöra ben. Mellan bågarna upptill en på högkant stående halvrund ho med starkt utstående överkant. Bakom stenen en rakt uppstående vinkelböjd ställning (ram) av plattjärn på vars översida i mitten en rakt uppstående tapp till fäste för ett vattenkärl (burk). På axelns högra ände en kort vev, förenad med en nedtill sittande avlång trätrampa genom en rundstavig stång med övre änden omböjd och hakad på veven. Sten, diameter: 23,3 cm.; tjocklek: 7 cm. Stativ, höjd: 81,2 cm. Ho, längd: 59,5 cm.; bredd: 89 cm. Inköpt av Wilhelmina von Hallwyl den 27 Oktober 1902 hos AB John Wall, Järn- och Maskinaffär.
