Mayen 1983 – 31 Min. Aufnahme: Gabriel Simons; Schnitt/Kommentar: Alois Döring, Gabriel Simons Im Spalthaus von Grube Margareta erfolgt die Weiterverarbeitung der Schieferblöcke von Hand. Die Leiendecker spalten und richten den Schiefer mit Spalteisen und Schieferhammer zu. Moderne Technik wird auf der Grube Katzenberg am Stadtrand von Mayen eingesetzt. Unter Tage gewinnt man den Schiefer mit elektropneumatischen Maschinen, zum Spalten werden Pressluftgeräte verwendet, und auch das Zurichten in die Schablonenformen für Wand und Dacheindeckung geschieht maschinell. |
