Summary
[edit]DescriptionPossible sheepfold on Big Law - geograph.org.uk - 1374052.jpg |
English: Possible sheepfold on Big Law. Three circular features in this area are shown on the 1:25 000 OS map and distinct in aerial photographs but not annotated or apparently in the archaeological record. This is the one furhest south-west. They are possibly ruined sheepfolds but their hill top location is somewhat unusual and there is no evidence that they were ever built in stone, now only surrounded by a low bank. The north-easternmost of the three is visible in 1374085 |
