Description

The protozoa, , Trypanosoma congolense, are 10–20 μm in length and characterized by a central nucleus, a medium-sized kinetoplast located at the margin of the body, in a sub-terminal position (arrow), a poorly-developed undulating membrane (arrowhead) and no free flagellum (May-Grünwald-Giemsa stain).
