In this letter to Amos A. Phelps, Beriah Green discusses Phelpśs employment situation and his own religious view. He then discusses the anniversary week at New York, which he expects to be ́interesting & perhaps painful.́ He hopes to learn more about the issue between New York and Boston societies before the meeting. He also hopes for a further discussion in the community on the issue of womeńs rights
