In this letter to Amos A. Phelps, James W. C. Pennington reports on the progress being made at "Eliot Station" in Jamaica. He talks about the new chapel being built, which is ́greatly in need of assistance.́ He also talks about his activities in the area in relation to education. He says there is a need for obtaining school books in Jamaica, and a great market for books published in the US
