Holograph, signed
William Lloyd Garrison writes that the head winds are causing delay. He expects that the World Convention to be nearly over by the time he arrives in London. He is much offended by the behavior of the cabin passengers. On June 11, the winds were more favorable. William Lloyd Garrison longs to see his brother restored to health and reconciled to God. Garrison is concerned with the welfare of the maltreated sailors
On page four of this letter, Garrison has written in pencil in the margin: "Tuesday, June 16. Have safely arrived in Liverpool, and hope to be in London to-morrow."
