Johnson praises the report of the annual meeting. He says that he thinks the "National Anti-Slavery Standard" should be continued until the final ratification of the thirteenth amendment. Johnson says that subscribers and friends should be consulted on the question of whether to continue the paper to the end of the volume. He says the withdrawal of Wendell Phillips and his friends reduced the receipts of the Anti-Slavery Fair by $1200
