Oliver Johnson expresses to William Lloyd Garrison his dissent from Mr. May's claim in the Liberator that the Green Mountain Freeman has been actively "suppressing" Garrison's letter to the Bradford Convention. Johnson rebutes this claim, stating that the letter was printed in the Green Mountain Freeman the following week, and includes a copy of the column for Garrison. Johnson opines that the delay was necessitated by the spatial demands of the "voluminous" proceedings of the convention. Johnson closes by expressing his sympathies for Garrison's poor health, and wishing him a full recovery
