Oliver Johnson requests that William Lloyd Garrison forward to him immediately the final draft of Garrison's speech for publication, as Johnson will be leaving for Chester County and therefore must "attend to the stereotyping of the pamphlet" prior to departure. Johnson announces that Cyrus Burleigh is again severely ill, having suffered a lung hemorrhage, and adds that despite this, Burleigh refuses to "give up care of the paper even temporarily"
