Circular letter
This manuscript is a printed circular letter by William Lloyd Garrison, president, and Wendell Phillips, secretary. The letter begins: "We take the liberty, in behalf of the Executive Committee of the American Anti-Slavery Society, to submit to you the following statement with regard to the National Anti-Slavery Standard, the organ of the Society." The letter goes on to give the aims and proposed contents of the National Anti-Slavery Standard and the reduction of its price by half, with a request to procure subscribers
