Samuel May, Jr. informs Francis Jackson Garrison that he has all but "exhausted" the 25 copies of the Cornell Circular forwarded to him by Garrison, retaining only one copy in his possession. May inquires if William Lloyd Garrison has consulted with Dr. Clarke, or with Drs. Bowditch and Ellis. May copies on the reverse of the letter a list of the 25 abolitionist figures to whom he forwarded the Cornell Circular
