Description |
Svenska: Kopp Duchesse på tre tassfötter. Koppen Cylinderformig med utvikt brädd . Dekor i guld och mörkt gråbrunt på glasyren i form av täckande ytmönster i guld och porträtt i gråskala av Karl XIV Johan efter en koppargravyr av Erik Åkerland (1754-1830). Koppmodellem, är typisk för första kejsardömet. År 1798 köpte Marc Schoelcher, som var en fransk porslinstillverkare f. Fessenheim (Haut-Rhin) greven av Artois gamla porslinsfabrik (Fabrique du comte d'Artois) vilken grundats 1771. 1804 hyrde han även ett showroom på Boulevard des italiens. Men 1810 blev han tvungen att överge fabriken på grund av försäljning av fastigheten och började koncentrera sej på dekorering. 1828 startade han en verksamhet som sålde porslin på Boulevard des italiens där han enbart var verksam som handelsman. Hans son Victor efterträdde honom men stängde affären troligen år 1834. Victor Schoelcher är framför allt känd som politiker och undertecknare av lagen om slaveriets avskaffande år 1848. Han ligger begravd vid sin fars sida i Panthéon i Paris. Marc och Victor Schoelchers affär - Boulevard des Italiens 1810-1834 (eller 1804-1834?). Pris: 11 Kr. Se Toilettbok maj 1892. |
