Japanska teburkar.
Nyckelord: Imari
Description
Two tea caddies decorated in underglaze blue, overglaze red and gildingQing dynasty, c.1720-40. Imari proved to be so popular with European customers that Chinese decorators copied it from Japanese wares, when they took back a major share of the export porcelain market in the early 18th century. Imari colours were subsequently copied in Europe, and can still be seen on ceramics today.
