Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Groynes at Spurn, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
Lines of old groynes line the beach for around a mile and a half at the most easterly 'bulge' of the Spurn peninsula. These were an attempt to delay erosion by trapping sand, but time and waves have destroyed all but the uprights.
