Nederlands: Detail van een gezicht op de stad Maastricht vanuit het zuidwesten (omgeving Brusselsepoort?). Pentekening, door sommige auteurs toegeschreven aan Jan de Beijer (ca. 1740). Van links naar rechts o.a. de kerk van de Nieuwen Biesen (Ridders van de Duitse Orde), de Antonietenkerk (dubbel torenfront), de Sint-Matthijskerk (stompe toren met traptorentje), de Sint-Catharinakerk (spitse toren) en, mogelijk, het Capucijnenklooster (dakruiter, trapgevels?). Op de complete tekening staat uiterst rechts het Beyart-complex afgebeeld. |
