Binding, c. 1: coarse cream paper; edges marbled red. Copy 2: mottled goatskin; spine gilt tooled; edges of boards gilt rolled; page edges red
On front pastedown of c. 2 is signature of Elisabetta Marchisio, née Marchisio. Below it is inscription of Geminiano Darini, who bought the book for 2 lire from the bookseller Gaetano Adani of Modena at 4 in the afternoon of 15 Sept. 1906
