English: Scale 1:200,000. LC Civil War Maps (2nd ed.), 305a.3 Another edition. At head of title: U.S. Coast Survey, A. D. Bache, Supt. Map is printed in two sheets which have been joined together to form a continuous map. The northern sheet measures 57 x 84 cm., and the southern sheet measures 68 x 84 cm. Map of the coast from Hampton, Virginia, to Old Cedar Inlet, North Carolina, showing roads, railroads, rivers and streams, and place names. Soundings are not given. Northern sheet has been thoroghly revised. Many place names, roads, and railroads have been added or repositioned. The northwestern corner of the northern sheet has been completed. Description derived from published bibliography. Available also through the Library of Congress web site as raster image. |
