English: Caddroun Burn. The embankment in the background formerly carried the Border Counties railway line (Hexham to Riccarton Junction) opened in 1862, but closed by Beeching. The Caddroun Burn is culverted under the embankment into a pool, which here is being used by a family as an impromptu swimming pool during the heatwave of July 2006 |
