Gransdorf / Eifel 1979 – 43 min Aufnahme: Gabriel Simons, Konrad Grunsky-Peper; Schnitt/Kommentar: Berthold Heizmann Das Brennen des Kalksteins dauert bis zu 60 Stunden. Das Kohlendioxyd entweicht, übrig bleibt Kalziumoxyd, also gebrannter Kalk. Diesen verwendete man früher beim Hausbau und als Dünger in der Landwirtschaft. Teilweise wird er auch heute noch von Stuckateuren benötigt. |
