Description |
Svenska: Joannes van den Hecke efter kartong av Charles Le Brun. Av ylle och silke (7-8 trådar per kv.cm) i gobelinteknik. Skänkt av Ludvig XIV (ej troligt, se nedan) till svenske ambassadören i Paris, greve Nils Bielke, vilkens dotter, Eva Bielke, var gift med Abraham Brahe. Tapetserien kom i Brahefamiljens ägo 1697. Nils Bielke och Eva Horn gav den som faddergåva till sin dotterson Nils Brahe (enl. Å. Meyerson). Se Böttiger : Tapisseries a figures, nr 90. Sign. "Joannes Franciscus van den Hecke" samt "BB" med mellanliggande sköld. |
