Making sense of the reports

[edit]

@Lokal Profil: not quite sure what the right course of action for lists like Austrian monuments without IDs is, seems ok to me? Braveheart (talk) 08:43, 5 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Braveheart: Looks as though processing of the Austrian monuments are suffering from a bug which causes images to be reported even if they carry the template. I'll investigate and get back to you. Interestingly the first image is a local upload to de.wikipedia, I don't think the Monuments Database ever considered that possibility. /Lokal_Profil 06:46, 6 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ha, interesting indeed! :-) I'll check those images. Braveheart (talk) 08:43, 6 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Lokal Profil: checked a few other images and they do carry the ID in question, not sure what's tripping the bot up. Braveheart (talk) 10:08, 29 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

False positives in Austria

[edit]

Hi, @Multichill: de:Benutzer:Multichill/Denkmal Österreich without ID lists images that mostly / all do have an id. So these images are false positives. To make the report usable, can you please try to skip those false positives. best --Herzi Pinki (talk) 10:21, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Herzi Pinki: already tracked in phab:T206389. You can fix it like this.
Can you fix these redirects to make the report usable again? Multichill (talk) 14:10, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Multichill: Working for the tool makes me feel like a fool. Any intent to resolve phab:T206389? --Herzi Pinki (talk) 06:48, 28 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Missing maintenance tool

[edit]

Isn't here any tool to add the missing templates to the file pages? We have 8195 images announced at cs:User:Multichill/Images of cultural heritage monuments in Czech Republic without id. Isn't here any bot or script able to add the {{Cultural Heritage Czech Republic}} template to the "description" field of {{Information}} template? --ŠJů (talk) 02:27, 23 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@ErfgoedBot, Lokal Profil, Multichill, Jean-Frédéric, and Limojoe: In 2012, ErfgoedBot was able to add the ID template, as here. Is here any problem with renewal of this function? --ŠJů (talk) 17:54, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@ErfgoedBot, Lokal Profil, and Jean-Frédéric: I think more is wrong here, the bot hasn't edited any files for over a month and same for Commons:Monuments database/Categorization/Statistics. Multichill (talk) 23:42, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@ŠJů, Multichill, and Jean-Frédéric: There is a tool to add such templates, unfortunately there are various situations which can trip the tool up (some are examined in phab:T206389) so that functionality has been disabled by default. It can be run for a specific country (as a one-off) if someone shoulders the responsibility of a potential cleanup. Add Multichill noted there is a larger issue with the reports not being updated (SQL times out). This is tracked in phab:T206398 but we don't have a solution for it. There additionally seems to be something affecting the remaining erfgoedbot functionality but I need to be on a laptop to figure out what that is. /Lokal_Profil 10:06, 29 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Lokal Profil, Multichill, and Jean-Frédéric: : cs:Wikipedista:Multichill/Images of cultural heritage monuments in Czech Republic without id lists seem to be OK, and the edit summary declares 8210 used images without ID template. If the edit tool is so correct as the list, there should be no problem. It's possible to process the 8210 images by the tool? Is possible to test the tool on some smaller sample first?
Compared to the 2012 usage, I would like to have the ID template placed into the "description" field of {{Information}} template, not at the top of the file page outside its structure. Is it possible? --ŠJů (talk) 22:08, 8 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Btw., we have also Commons categories which are linked from monument lists, but have not an ID template enabling back-links. Such cases should be also tracked and corrected routinely. And also false and corrupted links and category redirects should be detected. --ŠJů (talk) 22:14, 8 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Lokal Profil, Multichill, and Jean-Frédéric: Hi. Is there any problem which impedes to run the tool to add the {{Cultural Heritage Czech Republic}} template to the "description" field of {{Information}} template of ca 8260 images listed in cs:User:Multichill/Images of cultural heritage monuments in Czech Republic without id? Are those cases affected by some of unresolved bugs? --ŠJů (talk) 17:36, 16 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Lokal Profil, Multichill, and Jean-Frédéric: Hi. Is something trying to make the tool working, or the issue is still dead? --ŠJů (talk) 06:58, 6 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@ŠJů: Thanks for the ping − had missed the previous ones. No time to look into it right now but will do. Could you file a Phab task for it? best way for me not to forget :) Jean-Fred (talk) 20:56, 6 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Jean-Frédéric: Thank You. phab:T242034 filled. --ŠJů (talk) 22:25, 6 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Failure

[edit]

@Lokal Profil, Multichill, and Jean-Frédéric: ErfgoedBot emptied tonight the page cs:Wikipedista:Multichill/Images of cultural heritage monuments in Czech Republic without id, although id templates are still missing at the formerly listed file pages. --ŠJů (talk) 04:51, 28 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

unclear references

[edit]

for me it is quite unclear, what the mentioned international WLM team is. Can somebody link responsibilities please? --Herzi Pinki (talk) 10:18, 27 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Herzi Pinki: For 2018 it would be Commons:Wiki Loves Monuments 2018/Organizers but since it changes each year I'm loath to add that link there. Maybe wet could set up Commons:Wiki Loves Monuments/International team and redirect it each year? Alternatively we could ink to the mailing list. /Lokal_Profil 07:53, 20 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Failure again

[edit]

@Lokal Profil, Multichill, and Jean-Frédéric: ErfgoedBot emptied today the page cs:Wikipedista:Multichill/Images of cultural heritage monuments in Czech Republic without id, although id templates are still missing at the formerly listed file pages. --ŠJů (talk) 18:11, 12 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for reporting. Yes, the latest harvest crashed and the database ended up quite empty. I was notified this morning via phab:T180833 and retriggered an update − the next update should be fine. Jean-Fred (talk) 19:39, 12 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Jean-Frédéric, Lokal Profil, and Multichill: Hi, the same problem today again: ErfgoedBot emptied today the page cs:Wikipedista:Multichill/Images of cultural heritage monuments in Czech Republic without id, although IDd templates are still missing at the formerly listed file pages. --ŠJů (talk) 22:49, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Unmovable Heritage in Flanders with/without ID

[edit]

In the list w:nl:Wikipedia:Wikiproject/Erfgoed/Belgische Erfgoed Inventarisatie/Vlaanderen/Foto's zonder id the photo c:File:Pastorie_Sint-Kwintensparochie_met_tuin_39939_8-09-2020_9-07-37.jpg is still listed while it has clearly a tag {{Beschermd erfgoed|39939}}.

The Bot script seems to only react on the appearance of {{Onroerend erfgoed}} and not on {{Beschermd erfgoed}}. This is the reason why it stays listed but actually does have an ID...

I think the ErfgoedBot script should be amended to also respond to {{Beschermd erfgoed}}? Geert Van Pamel (talk) 14:04, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
