Wozu ist Information (de) gut? Beim Upload auf Commons erzeugt es einen komplett fehlerhaften Block ohne englische Beschreibung. --Ailura (talk) 12:01, 7 January 2018 (UTC)

LrMediaWiki erlaubt keine Uploads, wenn nicht das Feld "Beschreibung (en)" oder "Beschreibung (de)" ausgefüllt ist. Aber gerade bei Kunstwerken macht dieser Teil eher im Feld "Titel" Sinn. Es macht aber auch keinen Sinn, das Feld "Titel" auszufüllen, um den selben Text nochmals in "Beschreibung" einzugeben. Zur Zeit lasse ich das Feld "Titel" leer und fülle nur "Beschreibung" aus um den Upload zu ermöglichen. Könnte man die Software so programieren, dass ein Upload auch erlaubt wird, wenn mindestens eines der Felder "Bechreibung" oder "Titel" ausgefüllt ist? --Wuselig (talk) 15:47, 16 January 2018 (UTC)

Dateinamen

Ich hatte heute zwei Bilder die einen Dateinamen mit Bindestrich hatten. Der Versuch sie mit "Titel (Dateiname)" hochzuladen. Das schlug fehl. Liegt das an den Bindestrich oder gibt es da einen anderen Bug? Die Dateinamen Vorschau ignoriert auch das "Titel (" Careerfromhome (talk) 22:49, 31 January 2018 (UTC)

Export RAW file to Commons Archive too

Its possible add the function to upload the RAW file too. For example, this file has its RAW uploaded on Commons Archive and you will find the link on image description on commons page. --The Photographer 16:33, 27 December 2017 (UTC)

That would be a great feature indeed. But I'm not sure if Lightroom is able to export two different filetypes ate the same time. --MB-one (talk) 09:13, 14 August 2018 (UTC)

Descriptions

Is there a way to tell the plugin to always copy the description from the 'Caption' field in Lightroom/the EXIF data, instead of having to define one elsewhere in the metadata? Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 08:15, 25 December 2018 (UTC)

Before export I always mark all pics and write in the description field <caption>. You may find all the placeholders here: Commons:LrMediaWiki#Placeholders. --Stepro (talk) 10:45, 25 December 2018 (UTC)

My current plans are to get back to LrMediaWiki in early 2019 (January or February). Contrary to my original plans, I had no opportunity to devote myself to this project this year. I'm sorry.
