Support The tri-valley junction of the Doda and Tsarap rivers with Padum town, villages and fields in the valley. Late autumn in this arid high-altitude region, the evening sun low in the sky. Peaks in the Zanskar Range are about 6,000 m (20,000 ft), towering above the 3,600 m (11,800 ft) valley floor. View towards south-southwest from Karsha Monastery, about 10 km (6.2 mi) from the camera to the far edge of the valley.
