Discussion
- @AKBYS: What kind of files are you planning to upload with your bot? ★ Poké95 04:06, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
- Strong oppose Seeing Commons:Bots/Requests/Flickr Files Upload Bot, I am not confident that this user can run an upload bot. I doubt that the files this bot will upload would conform with COM:SCOPE, COM:FOP, and many more policies and guidelines. Sorry, but you are not really trusted on running this kind of bot. ★ Poké95 04:14, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
- @Pokéfan95: My bot will transfer files from en.wiki to Commons using Commonshelper.--ÂkBY$ 06:31, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
- I know how CommonsHelper function, I have been using that before. What I am asking is what kind of files your bot will upload (for example, PD-1923 files, photos of buildings from the U.S. on dewiki, etc.). ★ Poké95 07:58, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
@Pokéfan95: My bot will transfer all types of files.--ÂkBY$ 08:59, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
Declined. This has been discussed for a similar task at Commons:Bots/Requests/Flickr Files Upload Bot only two weeks ago. Not approvable without detailed understanding of bot operation and file licenses, which the operator has proven to have both not at the required level. Speedy closed per snowball clause. --Krd 09:26, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
