Discussion
Please provide a description which files are going to be copied. --Krd 07:59, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Krd: I want to upload files which are licensed under CC-BY-SA-2.0 , CC-BY-2.0 , CC0 licences. My bot will scan this and upload files to Commons and automatically reviews them.--ÂkBY$ 08:18, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
- You intend to upload all images regardless of quality and if they are within Commons scope? --Krd 08:22, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Krd: My bot will upload images which are in scope. My bot is like Panoramio upload bot.--ÂkBY$ 08:25, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
- Please elaborate how it is determined whether a file is in scope. --Krd 08:30, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Krd: My bot is same like Panoramio upload bot. It will determine like Panoramio upload bot.--ÂkBY$ 08:32, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
- How does Panoramio upload bot determined whether a file is in scope? --Krd 08:34, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Krd: I don't know. You can ask from its owner. I mean my bot is like Panoramio upload bot.--ÂkBY$ 08:38, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
- I may be mistaken, but I'd say a bot operator should have basic knowledge how his code works. --Krd 08:43, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Krd: My bot will run on [1]--ÂkBY$ 09:17, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose No need to mass import the whole flickr database to commons. Uploading tons of files isn't helpful. --Steinsplitter (talk) 11:58, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
- Aren't we have bots which upload batches of images from Flickr selected manually? Even such batches need more human supervision, like freedom of panorama or out of scope images. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 14:28, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
- @EugeneZelenko: : I will take care of images which are uploaded by the bot.--ÂkBY$ 08:35, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
- Please elaborate in detail how this will be done. Please make a few (5) test uploads. --Krd 08:46, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
- @EugeneZelenko: : I will take care of images which are uploaded by the bot.--ÂkBY$ 08:35, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
- @Krd: : Done--ÂkBY$ 13:57, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
- File:Custom Air brushed M (33486202431).jpg is Commons:Derivative works. Other photos seems to be low resolution advertisement of unclear origin. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 13:59, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
@EugeneZelenko: : I want to withdraw the request.--ÂkBY$ 15:10, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
Definitely a no-go. Uploads deleted, closing as withdrawn. --Krd 15:32, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
