I created it under the wrong name, it is empty and should be deleted. Jonathan Schilling (talk) 00:21, 30 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Keep Why is this the wrong name? What do you think should be the corect name?
I think this is the right name (assuming you meant the obvious meaning), and en:WP seems to agree. Even if a better name was used, this should probably stay and be used as a redirection to it, rather than deleting it. Andy Dingley (talk) 00:50, 30 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I subsequently created Category:JOVIAL (programming language), which I thought was the correct name. Because looking at Category:Programming languages by name, it seems to me that the disambig phrase is added in Commons for upper case languages that have an English word or name in the lower case equivalent. Thus even though en:BASIC and en:JOSS are without disambig in en:WP, here Category:BASIC (programming language) and Category:JOSS (programming language) are named with the disambig. And yes I agree about redirection. Jonathan Schilling (talk) 10:33, 30 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
