Template:Country category is adding some bad categories to Category:Punjab, India. I figure you are the most likely to be able to fix this. - Jmabel ! talk 20:56, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I'm (temporarily) removing the support of region categories from {{Country category}} and {{Topic by country}}, since region categories should be needed if and only if there are real pan-regional content. Issues with "<people> with <color> eyes" categories

Hi, Josh. Can you look at these categories? The category navigation template is putting some bad categories on them. An example is everything in the (undefined) category Category:With blue eyes -- that's one of the problem categories. Similar issues exist with these other eye colors:

I was tempted to just scrap the navigation template for these, but you've been able to fix similar issues in the past, so I thought I'd check with you first.

Oh, and in the process of looking for all the eye colors, I saw the also-undefined category Category:With pink hair, so maybe you could look at those, too? Thanks. -- Auntof6 (talk) 09:16, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I've been on a bit of a hiatus, but I'll try and look at these. At first look, there are a number of changes made since last I looked at this topic, but in some cases simple deletion of the second {{Category navigation}} call is the right answer.
